One of the best places on earth - variety to meet your expectations whether camping or lodging and the greatest staff to make your visit the best possible. Unplug and enjoy the beauty.

My kids loved their experiences at Cascades Camp as summer campers. The counseling staff is wonderful. Clean cabins, lots of activities, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for kids.

It's a lovely location. We stayed in the Lakeside Lodge, which lived up to its name. The view out the bedroom windows was of the lake just steps away. It was quiet and peaceful, a great place for a very early spring women's retreat. The rooms were crowded with a queen bed and two bunk beds, a tiny round table with a chair, and not much room for anything else--including luggage. You have to bring your own bedding and towels although they do provide a shower mat and a soap dispenser at the sink. Don't forget a hair dryer! The things that really brought my rating down? The water in our room's shower never did get warm. I went down the hall to use the shower in another room, and it had almost no water pressure. Meals are served family style, which is fine, but the food is all placed on the tables before the campers are allowed into the dining hall. By the time we got in and seated and had the food passed around, sometimes it was completely cold. There was no way to rewarm it that we could see. On the other hand, you can always ask for more.

Nice place to get away and just forget about the busyness of life for a little. There was no service, but it's good if you're trying to getaway and tune out. We come each year for a prayer camp and this is the first time I've been there while it was snowing, and let me tell you that it was breathtaking! There was only one other group that we saw on the grounds, so we got our space. We didn't have to worry about being loud or staying up late. I recommend this place for larger groups!

Yes, there are several logging options. Cascades has individual cabins, large lodges for large groups that are more like dormitories and a very cute train camp area that had lodging in the train cars. There is also camping for tents and motor homes.
