Pretty cool place if you ask me. There are two doors in the room both leading out. One goes to a balcony facing the beautiful lake and the road and the other goes to the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub were clean and we had a blast in them. The jets aren't very strong but we still enjoyed the soak in the hot tub..

Lake Norfork Inn is a place to stay. Just outside of Mountain Home, Arkansas it's a jewel in the wall if you will. We have stayed at Lake Norfork Inn on 4 different occasions and every time it has been a great stay. Beautiful outdoor setting with a Beautiful view of Lake Norfork. Trust us you will definitely want to stay here and soak up the Arkansas Beauty.

New owners bought this hotel last year and much to our dismay they are working out a lot of kinks. When I called to check in, I told the owner we would be bringing our french bulldog and she asked me her weight and told me the rules (kenneling etc). When we arrived the owners were in the parking lot and came up to us and our dog got out of the car and was running around. More on why this matters at the end. We stayed 3 nights. First 2 days the hot tub (no water) and pool (colder than cold) were out of commission. The female owner told us during check in that the hot tub was down and said we could cancel our reservation, but if you've ever been to mountain home, you know there's not a lot of choices, so we stayed. We have kids, so breakfast in the morning is a must. They advertise a free breakfast online and there's a sticker on the door handle telling the breakfast times. So yea, they don't have a breakfast. There was an almost empty carton of juice and a few bagels in ziploc bags in the lobby. Housekeeping didn't do our room the first day. If you need toilet paper or towels you have to find the owners to get resupplied. They ran out of washlclothes and had to buy more on Amazon....All the rooms had tables and luggage racks, except ours. The shower head came to my shoulder and the water pressure was so bad that we couldn't fill the bathtub for our kid's baths. The pool is locked and you can only gain access if you hunt down an owner to unlock it. Our 2 year old could reach the interior room door handles and when she pulled, the door unlocked and opened. So the male owner, talked to my husband about giving us a discount because of the issues (my husband didnt bring up a discount, the owner brought it up). When we went to check out the female owner got upset and accused us of not telling her about our dog and trying to hide her, so we wouldn't have to pay a pet fee?? Then she waives the pet fee instead of a discount and at the same time accuses us of lying about the dog. Oy. I wasn't going to leave a review, but the way the owner behaved at checkout changed my mind. The hotel isn't ready to be open. If people stay here, you're paying full price to be practiced on. This hotel has SO much potential and could be really amazing, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it until they work the kinks out or it gets new owners. I gave them 2 stars, because it was clean and the beds weren't terrible.
