A true hidden gem in Duluth! Ten minutes from Canal Park, but you feel like you're truly "Up North." Easy check in, hosts who are quick to communicate, and the cutest little cabins. They're wonderfully accommodating to pet parents and the view of Superior is spectacular. We're already planning our next visit to this new found slice of Duluth paradise!

It is way overpriced for what it is. The cabins are in rough shape, very small and smell terrible. Bathroom was gross and barely usable. If you try and use the heat the smoke alarm goes off every 30 minutes... as a last resort maybe think about booking here.

We realize we stayed there at a high time for travel, which increased the cost. The grounds were nice. Great view of Lake Superior (last night the reflection of the almost-full moon was a sight to behold!). The fire rings, tree-trunk seats and the little bridge over a creek in a small nature-area, cute. That said, at some point, you have to go inside. A rickety futon with a screw sticking out the back in the living area. An old mattress and box spring in the bedroom. Carpeting you don't feel comfortable walking on with bare feet on and ceiling tiles you don't feel comfortable looking at. The gas-powered wood-burning stove is a nice touch though (if you have to use it). Also, when searching on the internet specifically for rentals with wifi, North Shore Cottages was a search result. This turned out not to be the case, as it were.

We had such a wonderful time in Duluth this weekend! Thank you to Mark for accommodating us and the doggies and letting us stay in a bigger cabin. We are extremely thankful! We loved every minute of it. Only 15 min away from Canal Park and downtown. We will definitely come back and will recommend to our friends/family.
