I love this grocery store because most of their products are top quality. Some items can tend to be a little on the pricy end of the spectrum but usually worth it.

This review is for the sushi stand only, which I’m told is an independent business from the grocery store as a whole. The first few times this happened to me I did not leave a review or complain, but it has happened again. Today several salmon rolls had salmon crossed off and “tuna” written instead. I love salmon and I bought a large expensive combo platter for the salmon roll in it. This is a photo of the salmon from that roll… it’s crumbly & sickly looking, and the orange-ish pieces were tuna snuck into the middle of the roll (invisible until purchased)! I’m leaving a review, because the salmon was put on the outside and the tuna hidden in the center as a INTENTIONAL deception, and this is happened to me several times here. I’m just finally annoyed enough to leave a review. Buy your sushi at a restaurant, not a grocery store. They all do take-out.

I live farther away from Mount Royal but I always make sure I stop in when I am working at a branch closer to Mount royal. Amazing salad bar, delicious and bakery. Coconut Chocolate Chip cookies are my families favorite.

Love the selections that other stores in the area don't carry. Bakery is always great. They have gluten free choices. The Mortadella is wonderful.

Masks Required
I believe they do. They are known as a specialty grocery store so it is in the realm of stuff they would sell.
Closest thing they have to services is a car drive up. You do not have to cart your groceries, you get a number when they bag your groceries, you drive your car to the grocery pickup area, and they load the groceries into your car.

In early July 2 kids went to a party where someone went that was positive and did not where a mask. As soon as they heard this they called the store manager who told them to stay home and get tested. Yes, they were positive. They both worked 1 day before finding out and both wore masks and gloves as all employees are required to do. The store connected with the proper people to make sure everything was handled properly and the store was sanitized. Store protocol is for anyone that finds they were in contact with anyone at a 1 or 2 tier level will be quarantined and required to contact a medical professional regarding testing. This also pertains anyone who calls in sick with symptoms or comes to work with a fever or symptoms. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the store 218-728-3665.
Call the store...what they carry varies by season & availability. If anyplace in Duluth has it, Mount Royal does!
