There security guard at the door seems to think it's his job to prevent people from coming inside and optainng any information. This is unfair to the citizens/ clients etc. I'm appalled that this business has an outside employee practicing these behaviors.

Go down there and apply
Must call your local Social Services office and then personally visit and apply. Be sure to have documents required which I think will be original birth certificate, I.D. Card, Proof of Current Address (envelope from a service company within last 30 days, optional: SIGNED statement letter that you reside wherever located by property owner. Good luck! Remain safe as you can. Covid-19 is indeed NOT AT ALL EASY to deal with, horrible symptoms! You can't even imagine!
Call the agency. No answer? Then visit there. Normally fax numbers not given by Google Maps. Good luck.
Hope the agency rep called you! If not, hope you visited the office and made them answer you then!
Yep
Call them back, explain the situation and if need be, go to the main office.
If u want him 2 have his own place by his income (no income is still $50 a month) & other things he needs, go through HRMC. Dial 544-3841. As soon as the automatic voice starts, dial 4104. This will take u 2 the desk of John Oglesby. He is over some housing. 4 therapy 4 ur son, he can have insurance or if no insurance plus he has no income, he can qualify 4 safety net which covers therapy, medication visits, & the meds r sometimes covered, sometimes not, but if u get the meds there @ the Springdale location @ the onsite pharmacy, they'll get him set up on cover RX which makes most prescriptions $3. The number 4 the therapy (this requires a lot of gas 2 take him 2 visits & a lot of time & energy 4 visits) is 637-9711. U will dial 2 for the "adult center"(Springdale location) off of Central in Knoxville, TN. When u get him into HRMC, u ask 4 a case manager 4 him cuz u can't always b available 2 take him 2 appointments. Plus a case manager can take him 2 appts @ the Foodstamp office.
Unfortunately no
I believe every 6 months, but you are also to report any changes, income, address, may need to contact office to make sure.
Yes
Pack a lunch is right! Unless u go @ opening, which is 7:30am. One thing u might wanna look @ is ur question here. U say ur last name is Reed. Ur I.D. 4 this question says ur last name is Owens. Make sure all ur info lines up, as a differentiation such as last name or address will cause a delay. But go early if u don't wanna wait long. Calling or leaving messages gets u NOWHERE with them.
Is on the back of your ebt card
TANF/EBT WIC (check with website for further information)
You have to email them because of a lot of people calling them
Please call 865 964-6662
You can mail them, fax them, email them,. Or you can drop the in a drop box at your country office.
No they will not be open. It's a holiday
I'm sure you can as long as you have your childs information and yours as well
Yeah probably .
It has to be government-issued state ID or driver's license only
Yes
According to the news u should have by the 20th both January's and February's and u wont get another payment untill march if the government opens back up. Now they are saying that if the gevernment is still shut down u may not get marches payment.
U don't need an appointment 4 food stamps n 2 get tenncare I would say go 2 the health department n get it
U need 2 go 2 the health department. Dars a office across from da security guard desk dat can help u with gettn tenncare. Dats what I did
Safelink, you can apply for one on their website.
How do you apply for public housing section 8? I'm in Florida and want to move back to knoxville tn. Am disabled and need an apt. Baker town Apts would be great ... Help .
You can go to DHS or fill out an application online
I think they have several different fax machines. I don't know any of the fax numbers.
U gotta bring printouts of paycheck stubs or child support benefits or alimony or whatever. Also bring ur I.D. & social security card. If u pay 4 a house or an apartment, bring proof of rent or house payment ( I'm not sure that a bank statement only will cover everything) & KUB bills 2 show living expenses. If u have a pending disability case, bring a statement from them that they're representing u. If u have kids, ssc's 4 each & proof of childcare costs. That's about it.
What's easiest is 2 go in person. They open @ 7:30am. If u don't show b4 8am, ur guaranteed @ least a 45-minute wait in line b4 u even get 2 talk 2 some1. And, as the day goes on, the people occupying the waiting room with u grow increasingly belligerent. The babies scream louder, the moms scream louder @ the children, the non-screaming mothers have children that r hanging from ur clothing like koala bears, & the 80% of the men r usually cursing where every1, including the DHS workers, can hear them clearly. No regard 4 ur emotional status or 2 the fact that in addition 2 themselves, there r plenty of other human beings suffering through the long lines & the ridiculous repetitive nature of the government's requirements of the poor person that must take charity just 2 survive. I strongly suggest u get there b4 8am.
Didnt know sorry
