Rude, awful customer service!

Very kind staff but you better watch out there have been break ins ! Here is my true story: I have had a storage unit with them for 2 years and never missed a payment and after most of my storage was stolen and lock cut off I get what little was left and tell me I can't file a claim! Not very happy about this and may take it further. I was in the hospital when this happened and their employee who quit as fast as he came let us know when I went to question him about it he gave me a claim form to fill out and said bring it back. I was never told that we needed to call police, he was the one who discovered it and put one of their locks on it. I think that I should have been informed and told what I needed to do. I talked to the lady that is there now and she tells me that she can't file a claim because her boss won't allow her, that is bull. That stuff belonged my parents and it was not cheap! The manager was supposed to contact me and to this day I have not heard one thing sounds like poor customer service to me. I would like my claim filed and what is due to me paid! and a response and explanation!

Although the employee I spoke to during the week was very kind and helpful, we had a poor experience with iStorage When I arrived on Saturday at the Chapman Highway location with a full U-Haul, my access code didn't work. Once I arrived at my unit, instead of a locking mechanism, it had a hole in the door. Although it was 11am and the office was supposed to be open, no one was there, and no one picked up the phone when we called the numbers listed. We ended up moving my stuff into a friend's garage as an emergency solution. I hope to receive a refund soon.
