Got a gift card for Safeway for $50 from a very dear friend went shopping everybody is courteous kind and outgoing make sure that when you get to the checkout they ask you if you found everything okay pleasant environment to shop work in go get a snack.

Was sent to the store for a Tres Leches cake. Didn't know what it was so I asked they said they had one and packaged it up for me. Safeways version on their app is a white cake with a white whipped topping and Safeways version is decorated with fruit. What I was given 2 layers with a Boston creme like filling, sides covered in almonds and an orange glazed top a dallop of whip cream with a cherry. I contacted the bakery and was told they cover theirs with almonds and it's the decorators discretion about how the top is decorated. If corporate has a standard that's what they should go by. That's what I was sent to pickup instead I got a $20 mystery cake that went to waste.

This is a great store! The people were so nice to me. I enjoyed going in and getting stuff every day. But alas my luck has run out and my overloaded dodge neon developed problems I do not think I can fix. Very disheartening! But all those that work their are top notch. Know where stuff is, will take you right to it! Don't wear headphones and act like they don't want to talk to you. If people come in and ask I'm broke down next to AutoZone at the competitors. God love and bless each of you! Former Safeway worker in the 70s!

I loved it. Especially the floral section. You could smell the flowers as soon as you walked in the store. It's run by Melissa Brady and boy is she awesome! Need flowers or a special arrangement? Give her a try. 😊
