Half the lights in the room didn’t work. Paid for a balcony and got a railed in area directly next to the pool on ground level. Door didn’t lock unless you used the deadbolt so you didn’t even need to use the hotel keys. Paid for the booking online then the lady demanded a 200$ cash deposit when we arrived. Room smelt and the fridge was humming loud all night. Only good part about this was i was only there one night

I was very surprised at the quality of service. The owners were fantastic and made our stay a great memory. As all the hotel/motels in OC are dated, this room, kitchen, and bathroom were very clean and had all the dishes and utensils for indoor eating. My granddaughter had a blast in the pool and made many friends. Very close walk to beach We will be back!!

We had first rented a place on vrbo that didn't work out. So last minute we had to find a place. Most places were booked until we found this place. I ignored older reviews and went on to the most recent ones. We ended up staying Friday till Monday. Reviews stated that it was under new ownership. When checking in we were greater by one of the very friendly and welcoming owners. Our room had 2 beds and a pull-out couch. There was a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and coffee maker. The kitchen area was stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, cups, and a few pots and pans. You can tell they are slowly making some improvements to their rooms. The rooms were clean and perfect for what we needed. The beach is a 30-second walk away. Not as crowded as the beach closer to the boardwalk which was refreshing. If we needed to go back to our room it was so close. The pool was nice. My kids enjoyed it. After checking out Monday and heading to the boardwalk one last time we realized we didn't ask if we could swim for a little even after we checked out. When he called they welcomed us back. They made sure to check in daily and make sure we were enjoying our stay. Can't wait to come back and see what they've done with the place. Thank you for having us our family enjoyed our stay!

First, let me say please disregard most older reviews. The new owners, Miriam and her husband are succeeding in their efforts to complete much needed refurbishments. Our room was nice and clean with new carpet, new kitchenette cabinetry and comfortable beds. The bathroom, although somewhat date, was perfectly fine. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating and the hotel room was a very good value for the price.
