If you are looking for COVID-19 Vaccination info, keep reading. You have to have an APPOINTMENT, no walk-ins as of writing this; 4/27/2021. Enter the building on the Winona (north) side of the building. The first thing you do is talk to reception and they will ask you the standard, "do you have COVID symptoms", questions. Next, you get checked in at the next station: temp check(?), appointment time, insurance, pharmacy, etc. Then you get your shot after verifying your name, and date-of-birth. You get an appointment card for your second shot. Post-shot, they have you wait 15-mins in an auditorium seating area for any adverse side-effect of the shot. Once that is done, you can leave but make sure you pickup a "I got vaccinated" sticker right at the door. Hope this helps!

Located between Carmen & Winona along California Ave, Anderson Pavillion is a part of Swedish Covenant Hospital. One of the multi-floored structures housing multiple services and patient care units. Other AP components include psychiatric services, wound care center, volunteer resources, medical records and an auditorium. Connected to the Galter Medical Pavillion, East Wing, Main 🏢 & Parking Lot, bridges allow travel between structures without going outside. My experience was with AP-5. A large 36 bed multi- purpose unit. Serves a mixed population of medsurg, cardiac, 24 hour post ER observation & others. Provides telemetry monitoring. On any given day at least 1/3 of its patients could be discharged. Any number admitted or transfered in or to another floor. It's extremely busy. Why is that important? I came in through the ER. Brought up here in bad shape. Very sick. There are no MD residents here. The care was by that Very Busy. Friendly. Cooperative. Nursing staff. Who made time for me. I felt safe. Despite the unit's new tech the rooms show their age. Missing fading paint. Vents which need cleaning. Rusted heating. Heavy hard water deposits on some bathroom components. However. Patient friendly showers. Assistive safety devices. Comfortable adjustable beds. Private LG LCDs easily seen which did not intrude on any roommate. Phones with microphone boost so any caller could easily hear you. Volume boost so you could hear them. Printed patient education medication information including main side effects. When to call the MD. Discharge materials include copies of lab tests, procedures. Referrals. SCH patient portal access. Auxiliary and ancillary services were a part of the 5 🌟 rating. Despite any errors at times, I found Great Food and Great People in Dietary: Andy Roman and Katelyn Ares. It was a pleasure. Lacosta Marshall in Housekeeping. Went out of their way to address any issues or problems. Indispensable. Lab services personnel like Michelle, "Specimen Sharer" Alan and Elise who despite multiple needed tests minimized any discomfort. Acute illness disrupts life. Just like anywhere else it's hard to be here. It's busy. Noisy. AP-5 helps repair, restore, mobilize my body's resources. Got me less sick. Then I could continue to get well. Rest. At home. Worked for me.

As of 9/12/22 Patients in the ICU, IMCU, semi-private rooms are limited to 2 visitors at a time, regardless of age. Patients in a private room are limited to 4 visitors at a time, regardless of age. Visiting hours typically 11 am to 8 pm
Yes the building is open and staff continue to help and treat patients 24/7. Although the entrance from the street remains closed to the public on the weekend. Only way to access the Anderson Pavilion is by the bridge access from the main hospital entrance.
