It’s alright…. i’ve lived here for a little over a month, all the packages i’ve ordered on amazon have been stolen from the mail room, when I moved in my feet kept turning black and I was wondering why because i bought a mop and scrubbed the floors and they kept turning my feet and my socks black, after some investigating i realized the AC filter needed desperately cleaned and that was why the floor was so dirty, that OR the previous tenant was a smoker because my apartment does smell like cigarettes and i thought this was supposed to be a no smoking complex. My shower is help together by a zip tie (Not exaggerating.) There isn’t really any security, the doors to the buildings have a scanner thing for your key FOB but you don’t actually need the FOB to get into any of the complexes, just the amenities. Anyone could walk into my building and knock on all the doors / try to open them all. My neighbors are quite noisy between the hours of 12am-5am, stomping etc above me. The new modern renovations seem very cheap to me, very much looks pretty on the outside to lure you to rent here but isn’t functional vibes. I have lots of silverfish in my apartment, everywhere and I know that is common for older buildings but it still creeps me out. Another specific incident happened to my apartment specifically but those details I would like to keep private. I decided to use the laundry facility last week, and the dryer wasn’t drying my clothes, I was so confused so I kept running cycle and cycle and cycle and then after 2 hours they still were damp, they also smelled RANCID. I have to go do my laundry at my moms house now. Overall just consider these things before renting here and if you do decide to rent here, make sure to ship your amazon packages to someone’s HOUSE, where they are less likely to be stolen.
