The park is is Lush an especially beautiful and comfortable in the summertime. I live in Arizona but most of my family is in Upstate New York so I always make a trip to hike the trail over to the false and advise any visitors to Rochester to do the same

From here you could hike to the north you can get to the lake going. Heading south you can go through the city to the canal or university of Rochester. Bring a bike or comfy shoes. The park and trails will provide the views: waterfalls, the gorge, the river...
