Need to train their employees better. I went in to donate yesterday, 10/8/22, and was told that my protein level was 0.2 below the threshold, meaning I couldn't donate. (Not their fault, they have their own policies and red tape that they have to navigate; which I understand.) I have been donating here for over a year and this was my first time having an issue with my protein, so I asked the receptionist how long I would be deferred for. He told me it was a "one-day deferral" and to "get a protein bar and come back tomorrow". I made sure I upped my protein intake the rest of the day, and made the 20-minute one-way trip to the donation center this morning, 10/9/22. Once I got there, I was told I had actually been deferred for a full week. When I recapped the situation for the manager, and explained that I had just wasted another hour of my time, as well as the $4.29 a gallon gas, to get to the center, because their employee told me I could donate today, I was told that I was out of luck. I understand that mistakes happen, it's part of life. But a company that actually cares about their donors would at least make an attempt to make things right when they are the ones in the wrong. However, there was zero effort made to compensate for their screw up, and all that was accomplished was them costing me more time and money. If BioLife wasn't such a joke, I'd never step foot in CSL Plasma again. Just a shame we don't have a better option in Bloomington.

I would highly recommend everyone going to Bio Life instead of this place. Employees are not as experienced and have had multiple problems here. Every trip here is different... I have had the needle almost ripped out of my arm multiple times. They do not offer seating as your in line and be prepared to wait!!
