Small and tranquil spot around the College Mall area that makes for a pleasant walk, which is sometimes all you need. The placards posted throughout cue a visitor in to some local history of the woods and Bloomington more generally.

Difficult to find the entrance. You have to park in the visitor area of The Stratum, then you have to find the path behind a garage. There is no sign on the street.

Secluded beautiful retreat to nature next to the college mall. Wouldn't even know it was so close. Such an amazing gem in Bloomington.

No restrooms and no picnic tables. But there is plenty of trees and plenty of privacy if you end up needing to go relieve yourself. And there are several spots along the Falls and Trails one could set a blanket and or chairs out to picnic. Beautiful
