Looking back at a few months later this could be the most miserable experience of my young life… with that said the story is actually kind of funny to me now. Was heading to KC MO from FL to visit some in-laws… big STL cards fan so I decided to fly into STL a day early and catch a game (turned to a double header awesome) last game ended at like 11 so plan was to get a rental car and drop off at KC airport. Apparently that’s impossible/astronomically expensive for a 22 year old. 100$ for 2 Grayhound tickets at 12:00 am to KC was literally perfect solution. I walked to the station at like 11:30, get there says on board delayed to 1:30am It is what it is I can wait an hour no big deal. At like 1:15am lady says our bus is here. Go wait in line… and bell breaks lose lol. I genuinely don’t understand what happened but I guess there was another KC bus earlier in day that never came so our bus took those people. Mind you, that bus that never came had all these peoples stuff on it so they are here working where the heck their luggage are.. poor people felt so bad. So this bus leaves at 2 we aren’t allowed on it cuz it’s full they say they will have another bus soon. I don’t see another staff member till 4 AM LOL. Surrounded by rowdy characters (nice people but didn’t feel super safe) I took the initiative to ask the receptionist for an update. I ask when our bus is coming, she looks at me and puts her head down in distraught and says I don’t know… she was very overwhelmed and stress . So I go back tell my newly formed group of characters that she has no clue they get angry, she makes an announcement “no update on bus blah blah I think 10 am next day”… I THINK??? So it’s 4 am I am literally stranded in STL around people who don’t make me feel to safe with no one awake to even drive the 5 hours to get me. Hotels were all sold out since gane or just way to expensive. No Uber is gonna drive 250 miles so it’s sleep in station I guess. WRONG! One of my new friends went outside found me a taxi driver to take me home! Was 400$ but honestly don’t regret it… that ride was so sketchy but hey got the job done. Don’t regret it! Didn’t even bother trying to get my refund as all the characters said they don’t refund so that’s 500$ down the drain. Safe to say I’ll never use grayhound again lol… thank u bus stop friends!

They canceled my bus for the bus that was supposed to leave at around 12:30 am but didn’t make any announcements about it so I had to sit there for almost 43 hours

What is the direct phone number to greyhound station. no answer
Believe me they will not mess with me when I come to St. Louis Mo. Next Month For The Pokemon Go Safrai Zone. I am in the legal profession and I would have no problem use Grayhound. Contact my U.S. Senate about Gray Hound violating and discrimination against a person with a disability to remain inside the Gray Hound Bus Station where it safe. I am not going to sleep out on the street. I am a customer I pay money for services and Grayhound not going to mess with me.
I wouldn't leave my vehicle overnight or for long periods of time. A garage would be much safer and worth every penny if only for peace of mind.
Don't take greyhound... they suck
Some buses arrives on time and some are late due to traffic or other issues.
Id say about a 10-20 minute drive. Give maps will give you the exact travel time
You can check pricing on greyhound.com and bag fees
Go to website
Two
Can you be more specific
Absolutely. Go to there website, or down load their app...you can click on "TRACK" and either enter your schedule number or the city of your departure or arrival and it'll let you know where your bus is at that time and if it's running on time or running late. Hope this helps. Happy and safe travels to you.
If you use the MAIN website you can get the CURRENT price for your trip
I'd call ahead of time but ive seen many get escorted by police on and off the bus
430 s 15th st. Downtown CIVIC CENTER
I'm not a hundred percent sure I think so your best bet would catch a Subway which is connected to Greyhound station and you can find a bundle of hotels nearby!!!
Bogarts or pappys before 5pm
Yes they do
Yes
Yes you need a I.D. They put your name on the ticket
Go to greyhound.com weirdo! You really expect someone to look that up for you??!?? Jesus Christ!!!
It really depends on the driver. And to reply to other posts, sometimes people don't have an ID because they were robbed and a relative is trying to help them out; ie my grandson. And the answer is YES, if you buy the ticket on-line for them. At least that is how it worked for me anyway.
I think in 2000
No the Pizza Hut there's no KFC that I'm aware of there is a little store across the street sell chicken in food and food basically the place is a ghost town
I believe it's beside the airport before they pull in to the St Louis train station it's usually like at 10 Minit stop
I'm Sorry but I'm really not sure about that,They do have A parking garage
stay in the station depending what time your layover is but daytime it's nice city
Varies. Depends on from/where you're going to and when you buy the ticket. But it's never been really expensive.
English please
Yes you can just show proof of purchase
Catch a train from Alton Illinois. Might be a little more but Greyhound is a joke. Check rates at Amtrak.
No I only go as far as Lambert airport.
I think they do call em ☝
You're literally sitting there with the internet at your disposal, asking us for local directions? Get serious please...
There is a lot that goes into getting that back up bus. They don't have extra buses laying around at each stop. They have to find the bus and the driver. Then the drive time to meet. The next stop will re route you before you arrive if you miss a connecting bus. They will also offer you a food voucher
A big car rental place and a couple blocks away is down town their is a great Chiense restaurant call the red door
They left me b4 that's why I don't ride the bus
Walgreens drugstore upon Lafayette it is about 3 to 5 miles
Greyhound.com
Have you ever laid your head on the metal benches at a bus terminal. I've seen people laying on the floor from Portland, Dalles, Sacremento, way comfortable to just stretch out.
I believe so. If I were you I would call and ask first though.
I was on a bus headed for Pittsburgh.
Or go online to greyhounds website and do an estimate.
Yes, the service desk is on your left as you walk in to the lobby. You can purchase and pick up tickets there.
Expect lay overs now to the Fall, short on drivers
Thank you very much for that helpful information I'll be sure to keep that in mind and when I'm back there if God is willing I will not get food there! Unless something drastically change God bless take care! 🙏👍:-)😎👨👩👦👦🤘💥🖐️👌❤️✌️
Yes. There is long term pay parking, 1 block west of the bus terminal. It is open to Greyhound and Amtrak passengers. On the corner of Poplar st. and 15th st
Yes they have KFC and they have a cafe I believe but they do have things inside the bus station which is also a train terminal as well so it can get busy on any given day! Enjoy God bless take care of! 🙏🤳👌🖐️❤️😎👨👩👦👦✌️🤘💥👍
Prices change all the time
You can depend on greyhound to get where your going
Use bus tracker
