Good customer service is so hard to come by these days it seems, but not at West Seattle Nursery thankfully! Tracie "t-rex" is the sweetest and most helpful woman! I walked into that Nursery without ONE clue as to what to do about my climbing rose bush that fell over (I'm a novice gardener, at very best), and she saw the look of concern on my face. She asked if I'd been helped, and I said no in a defeated tone, and she immediately "rose" to the occasion; Tracie got me everything I needed, and more, in no time! Terrible puns aside, I will definitely be back here. Thank you again, Tracie!

Love this place. They have been apart of WS for generations! Helpful and kind hearted staff. It's also a great place to bring the little ones to explore different plants and flowers. Bought some string of turtles and a cute lil pot today. :)
Limitless
Cute stores with many beautiful items and decorations. Some house plants and pots are more expensive than other places I've been to. Fruit trees and flower plants are about the same prices. Knowledgeable staffs. I was able to find some rarer plants here.

Went a little plant-crazy the last time I visited. Beautiful gift shop; huge, incredible variety of plants of all growth stages, categorized by helpful care instructions on how to best keep them alive. Probably in the 90-100% range of worth-it nurseries, even if you do have to take a trip to West Seattle to make the accomplishment, which, y’know.

Masks, hand sanitizer is provided, only one entrance into the greenhouse building, stay away from others and please feel free to do so once we're in stage 3
Not at present. If you are local...you can try Burien Feed.
If they are the small 4" or 4-cell packs, no. Those go into the trash, unfortunately. The larger, round ones can be rinsed out and put into the clean recycle bins. If you have big ones, like the 2 gallon or larger, we can use them, so feel free to bring them to us. Thanks.
We don't have any right now, but they are trees that we do carry. We are getting lots more stock in every week and they may be on order. Maybe check back in 10 days to 2 weeks. You can ask for Kari who is our tree and shrub buyer. Thanks.
Yes, we have 3 varieties: Titch, Golden Titch and Blue Dragon. All are one-gallon size, $12.98
I'm sorry, but we don't. Members of the Meconopsis family are hard to come by. We have had the blue poppy in the past, but not the gold. You might check with other nurseries, Sky, Swanson's, etc.
Yes, we do! One gallon size is $12.98. Look for them in the perennial area.
It is a bit early for hydrangeas. We have a few in right now, but for good selection, check back around the end of May. We should be getting in more varieties by then.
Sorry, we don't. I would guess that maybe a store that sells craft supplies might. Have you checked with NW Art & Frame?
Hi Gail, I'm sorry but we don't have that rose.
Yes, we do. We have a few in stock $19.98 each.
When last I was there, you did still have to have an appointment. And a mask.
I don't know about english laurel, but they are open for business by appointment only. You can sign up on their website
We have small ones in stock (30" x 14") for $9.98. We will have larger ones in stock later in the season.
Yes, we do! You can purchase them at the nursery, online or over the phone.
Hi Jackie, we do get lemon trees from time to time and sell them in the Greenhouse/gift shop. I suggest that you call their direct line 206-258-4607 and see if they have any or expect to bring them in anytime soon.
Hi Vincent-Leroy, we have 4" plants for $3.98 and 1 gal. for $12.98.
We do have a few Magnolia grandifloras. There are different varieties of them. You might want to stop in and see what we have.
If you are looking for tools, we do have bonsai scissors and other items. If you are looking for a person who prunes bonsai, we recommend Robert at Asia Pacific Gardening http://www.asiapacificgarden.com/.
Hi Teri, Looks like we are out of them right now. Sorry!
No idea, ask the crew there and order it
Hi Debbie, Sorry, we don't have any Fairy roses. We are just about sold out of roses of all kinds for the year. We do have a couple of pink carpet roses and knock out roses, though. We are only able to order once a year, so we can't do special orders during the season. When our 2019 rose orders are confirmed, we will update the searchable rose list on our website (look under "Plants"). Look for that in late December or early January. Thanks, Marie
West Seattle nursery has then in stock
