The Indianapolis Urban League discriminates the black community. They do not care about African Americans at all. They're using us like puppets.

I received my first Covid-19 vaccination at Indianapolis Urban League, and am scheduled for my second in April. I was very impressed. They made it super easy and were very kind. Thank you, Indianapolis Urban League.❤️

Good. Their staff really worked hard to accommodate all of us. It was such a hot day. We all wished there was a tent set up for the entrepreneur 's to sit or stand under. Loved the 360 selfie. Ambassador Dr. Angela J. Nealy, Ph.D.

They use you to get money from the government they don’t tell you in advance we don’t have funds to cover rent and utilities expenses they go around it in the beginning of the program telling u lies such as at the end of the program is only when you can speak to someone about the assistance
I'm not sure.. But I know a new one starts soon. Call down there or just stop by. There's always a Super friendly face available to answer any of UR questions😁❗ 🙏💌
They help thereselves a bunch of thieves if you ask meif they want to keep something like this for minorities they need to undergo New Management because Ms. Simmons saying that she needed me because of my last name in the particular program that teach English when I know English for more Grant money don't pray on me
I am not sure if the Urban League do taxes, but the John H Boner Community Center do your taxes for free
Unfortunately this year we will not be hosting our back to school block party. In it's place we are having a community day with the National Urban League conference on July 27th, 2019. We will distribute up to 10,000 back packs, have health screenings, have our black farmers market and a job fair as well. The doors open at 10:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm. There will be presentations, music, speakers and a giveaway as well. We plan to bring the block party back for 2020.
This is one of the best places for getting on your feet. They can help refer you to places that will help with housing and they offer emergency financial assistance. They help with job placement, resume, and will pay for your schooling for a certificate of your choice. In order to qualify for services you have to complete a 2 week program called,"New Beginnings". I just completed it and it's an amazing program
I think yes, because they have many programs for people, but you will have to go to the building and ask.
