I am Man Hear me Roar
I would not recommend Scott. I didn't even talk to him until 2 days before the hearing. I only talked to people that worked for him that aren't attorneys for the most part. I was clearly disabled for over a year due to a motorcycle accident and I got nothing. Scott did not make clear to the judge we were going for a certain time period where I was disabled and honestly in the hearing said next to nothing. He did not represent me well. I have a broken spine due to an accident and he could get me nothing. When I called after being denied he said I needed to tell him I wanted to appeal. My response was Why didn't someone call me to let me know this was an option? Why didn't he persue it? He said he needed me to tell him to file an appeal (basically I needed to tell him to do his job or he wouldn't). I have a feeling he takes on way too many clients to give each case the time it needs. Of course you'll never win an argument w an attorney so I hung up. I'm going to try finding one that spends more than 5 minutes on my case and follows up w his clients w options vs just a letter saying you lost have a nice day. If Scott can't win my case I have a hard time believing he wins any cases. He made nothing clear to the judge on my behalf (he said the judge should just know just like I'm supposed to just know I can file an appeal and I have 60 days to do that) or clear to me on my options. Find an attorney who has less than 200 clients he's trying to juggle.

Call them and ask for Mr. Tyree.
Social Security will not accept an application for disability benefits if the claimant is earning wages over a certain amount. The amount changes each year, so call us and we can discuss in more detail.
