I just got back into a regular exercise routine following the death of my best friend. Exercise is an important part of my self-care practice. However, when the staff is rude, it negates any healing impact of the workout. When I arrived, Kendra told me I needed to update my debit card. She asked if I had one on me, I said no. She said bring it in next time I said, okay. I certainly wasn't being over the top fake friendly, nor was I being rude. She expressed a demand - I said okay. I guess she wanted more, because she hollered after me, "Have a great workout," in a particularly fake nice voice. I had a decent workout and needed to get to my next destination. Kendra stopped me again on my way out and said something about, "I hope I didn't offend you or upset you," or something like that, I said, "No, you're fine." I kept walking. She said, "It said on your account that Edwardsville already talked to you about this." I said, "I don't know. My mom pays for the account. We'll figure it out." I'm still walking because I have to go and we have no further business here. Finally, she said with the most sarcastic voice possible, "I'm sure you will. Thanks for being such a pleasure to deal with." I can't imagine talking to someone like that at work. I was just going to leave and be the bigger person; but, as someone who is using the gym to get through grief, I left the gym even more depressed. So, I turned around and asked for her name. Kendra, if you read this - not everything is about you. If someone doesn't smile when you tell them they need a card on file, maybe they are trying their best today. Don't take it to heart if they don't smile at you. Don't force them to have a second conversation with you because you didn't like how the first one went. Your point was received the first time. Maybe you were also having a difficult day, since your fake customer service voice intentionally crumbled into meanness so easily. Do better.

Very clean, no one bothers you, or judges you. Very helpful staff, clean tanning beds. Worth the 25 bucks a month to have access to everything.

Hi, Helen! We welcome members and guests from the age of 13 and up. Those who are 13-14 do require permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, while those who are 15-17 require only permission in the form of a signed waiver. Hope this helps!
Yes it will and I've not been to the one in Edwardsville so I can't give an opinion concerning size, but it's a good size and fully loaded with all kinds of goodies!
Hi, Matt! While there are no saunas, our Planet does have showers available, and our Black Card Spa may have other amenities you may enjoy. Hope this info helps, and please don't hesitate to visit or call for more details. Have a good one!
Hey Vexe! Unfortunately no! You have to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Anna
