There's no camping at Eagle Creek Park. A lot of state parks have camping and there are plenty of campgrounds around Indiana. If you Google "places to camp in Indiana" you'll see tons of results.

It's open now but heads up, the area to the water is disgusting and littered with geese droppings. Trash is everywhere and lifeguards do nothing but sit on their butts. At least, they could've taken ownership and help clean up. We will never swim there again.

Yes, The deer population is very large in the park and surrounding area! They will starve to death! If the herd isn't thinned out. It's the most human thing to do. Most of the deer meat is given to shelters. To feed the homeless. I hope this makes you feel better. Shawn

Last day was two weeks ago. Eagle Creek Park is a part of the city of Indianapolis parks system. Due to HS seniors and College students returning back to school, all Indy Park aquatic places are closes for the season.

Does Eagle Creek Ever Clean out and Around the Ponds in there? Last time I went with Nephew and Friends they looked like Swamps.

No. There are no restaurants actually inside the park at all. There is a seasonal outfitter/rental operation that sells snacks/drinks(chips, candy, ice cream, water, soda, etc.) but that's it. There is a resturaunt on the Reservoir called Ricks Boathouse that is just north of Eagle Creek Park.

I would have zero reservation about it if you disguise your beverage. Is it likely anyone would ask what's in the aluminum, insulated coffee mug? Vodka goes in the Sprite 2 liter bottle, etc.

Eagles Hideaway, a home, is available for $100 an hour. Food can be catered or prepared onsight. Insurance is either an option or requirement depending on venue. Eagle Creek Park is a city park that doesn't have any camping. It is open from basically sunrise to sunset. Entrance fee is between 5 & 7 dollars with yearly passes available
