Please check our website, www.alliedcomputing.com for full details. We are open normal business hours. Appointments are not necessary. We are disinfecting all equipment that comes in for service. We are not offering one-on-one training or on-site appointments.
Yes we can replace batteries in iPhones. As an Apple Authorized service Provider, we use real Apple batteries that we acquire directly from Apple.
Paul, There are 2 models of 2012 MacBook Pro. One has a retina display, the other does not. On the model without the retina display, the battery is $129 and there is no labor fee to install. On the model with the retina display, the battery is $190 + $90 Labor = $280 Total. On that model, we have to fully disassemble and reassemble to computer to properly replace the battery, it's not just a simple battery swap. Call us with the serial number of the computer and we can verify the model and confirm the price.
We are not able to simply swap a nonworking iPhone for a new one. The normal process is that we determine the problem with the phone, then we either repair it in shop, or if it is something we can't repair here, we send the iPhone to Apple for service. Sometimes, Apple decides to send a replacement iPhone instead of having us send it in for service, but we do not make that decision, Apple does. If the phone is under warranty, and eligible for service, there is no charge to the customer. If the phone has accidental damage (Cracked display, liquid damage, etc.) then there is a fee for service even if the device is under warranty as accidental damage is not covered unless you have AppleCare+. Bring the phone by the shop and we can take a look to figure out the correct course of action.
