Was visiting from NY and was going to skip the Great Wheel but ended up doing it and so glad I did! There is AC in every pod on the wheel which is nice because it was around 90 degrees the days I was in Seattle. The wheel went around 3-4 times and I got a great view of the city and Mount Rainier!

Great views, lovely atmosphere, but a little pricey for what it is! 19 dollars each roughly once taxes are added on. Affords some great views and shots of the city as per my pics. Not a bad option to get good views compared to the price of the space needle though! Good location for eateries and entertainment afterwards too.

When in the area why not do The Seattle Great Wheel. The views are amazing, customer service is always good. They have a little stop before you board to get a drink non or alcoholic & snack which I thought was nice. You can purchase tickets online or at the booth once arrived. We went on a Monday at noon and there was no wait, we circled around 4 times with a stop at the top to enjoy the views which was nice. I like that you can enjoy views of the ferries as they come and go. Such a great spot in Seattle to enjoy!

AMAZING VIEWS & CALMING EXPERIENCE. I was lucky enough to enjoy a space all to myself when I experienced the Seattle Great Wheel. Bough a beer that came in their souvenir cup (pricey). I liked sipping a beer while enjoying the view so it wasn't a big deal for me. The ride is slow enough to enjoy the view and fast enough to stay entertaining. The inside of the pods are very spacious and sturdy. This is a "manage your expectations" situation. I got exactly what I expected and enjoyed it. I gave it a four star because there wasn't anyone really at the ride when I was there and I felt the ride should have and could have been a bit longer.

We went last week, mid April, and it was only about a 10 minute wait.
Monday 11AM–9PM Tuesday 11AM–9PM Wednesday 11AM–9PM Thursday 11AM–9PM Friday 11AM–10PM Saturday 11AM–10PM Sunday 11AM–9PM
During the week walk Up, and walk on.
They have this posted on their website. "We currently do not have any discounts to offer. We simply break our ticket prices down by age to be fair to everyone. All prices are as listed in the ticket pricing section."
I believe there is on the Seattle great wheel we site, you might need to state you are a senior in person.
The best time is the sunset time
Yes an infant is allowed..there are two sits on each side of the cube so there is enough room for both the mom and the infant on one side...
No reservation is needed. You can buy your ticket in advance to skip the ticket line.
It was $16 something when we went during the summer. About 8 times around but it goes slow and stops to let more people on and off. It is worth every penny. Clear days are the best!
It's not dark in there, the lights are on when it's getting dark outside.
Over a couple of hundred people
At least 15 minutes. You go around three times. Plenty of time to get video and photos.
11am to 10pm
Sr: 65+ $12 Adult: 12+ $14 Age 3-11 $9
There's street parking nearby or a parking garage across the street. You'll have to pay no matter what, unless you can find street parking after 8pm.
There's parking all over, although you have to pay. Depending on day and time. I paid 15$ on the weekend and I believe $8 on a Monday
If your lucky and get on last you get an extra roto sometimes
Yes, but the drinks are served from a bar so you may still be able to get one.
Ride is $18
Elliot's Oyster House is very close and very good.
I believe you can use them any day
You can call in advance, but I believe kids 12 and over can ride without an adult present.
Yes
There is paid parking which only cost $6 dollars but that was after 8pm. Across the street there are paid parking spots. If your willing to walk then you can find free parking.
Yes I believe so as long as they can climb a very short set of steps to get up to the cars
You can also get in line and buy tickets online while you wait
Find the nearest parking structure or take an uber, i do not recommend driving in that area due to the construction happening in the area.
around the grounds on a leash but not inside unless it's a service animal
It regularly sits 4 adults total for the dinner. I would call ahead and make sure they would be able to accommodate your party of 5 (3 adults, 2 children).
Not included with dinner
Yep
No
Great Question. Have you checked their Google Map Reviews or their website? I would call and ask what options they have and prices.
You need to purchase again because they dont have proof that you brought the ticket
Both times are fun. Night view is much better. Try going just before sunset
The VIP gondola is their special luxury gondola with four leather bucket seats and a glass floor. Each VIP ticket also includes a souvenir t-shirt and priority boarding. Have fun!
$14 for adults (age 12 & up); $12 for seniors (65+); $9 for kids (ages 3-9); and anyone age 2 or younger rides for fre
I'm not sure about pets. They load the cars, you go around 3 times, and they unload. It's about 15 minutes total.
Probably. But check the website first.
I don't know if is to possible to buy or get the tickets by website, I bought at the pier... it's easy and it isn't expensive
You get to ride the gondola with a glass floor and nicer seats, you get a few goodies such as a tshirt and a picture, also an adult beverage you can drink inside the ride. That's all I believe.
If it slow you can usually go alone
The VIP has leather chairs, see through floor and I believe photos
You can pay right at the Seattle Great Wheel. They have a ticket window on site at the base.
It should coast about the same, the friction shouldn't be that much greater.
Per person. Comes with two pics, free beverage and t-shirt
Check the website to be sure.
Feb 17th is on a Sunday; the general timing on Sunday is 10 am through 10 pm. Hope this helps. Have a funn trip in advance :)
I was there in early October and there was no wait at all.
You get the best seats, personal music , one drink, two free photos , one t shirt per ticket
Maybe 10-15 minutes. When we got on they said it would be 3 turns but I think it was actually 4 turns. It turns slowly.
Yes they are allowed to ride with an adult, they ride free.
Give them a call, they should be able to help you .
About 20 minute wait. My suggestion is have a drink at the overlooking bar and then go up around 820 right as the sun is setting. As the sky changes colors its the best view.
I don't think so ,because when your inside it moves
Too much 😋 I paid $16 per adult. You get three rotations of the wheel and you're done. The view of the Puget Sound and downtown Seattle are awesome.
No lines for us Monday evening
Yes you can ride with a wheelchair they have a wheelchair lift
June 29th, 2012. At the time of its opening it was the tallest ferris wheel in the west coast
$9 for Youth (3-11)/ $14 Adult (12+)/ $12 Senior (65+)/ $50 VIP
It can easily sit about 4-6 people and there will be enough room for everyone. If you try though you can fit about 7-8 but It'd be very tight
More then 14 was like 36 for me an my girl.. Might be a lil more at night not sure tho
I think you can get a private gondala ride might be extra
It's close to Pike Place Market, which has lots of interesting food options
The ride goes around about 3-4 times, it's a little slow but it allows you to really observe the city.
My 2 year old was accepted with a smile. :) No issues at all.
