Went to the BMV for my stickers. It's changed a little. Now you have to sigh in at a kiosk where uou put in yor cell # and they will let you know when it's your turn. It wasn't busy so I got in and out.

I arrived for a scheduled driver exam after having let my license remain expired for way too long. The staff were cheerful and friendly. My wait time was less than 5 minutes. Everything was very smooth and organized. Good job, everyone.

Go to Portsmouth. Better ppl better service all around. Absolutely the worst state to deal with. The ladies here work hard at not helping. Sitting there listening to them talk about another employee who didn't show up because shes probably to busy with her cats was absolutely disgusting. I hope she finds a job with ppl who work and respect her. They flat out refused to accept government papers for verification, because they refuse to work or honor what they say. The doors are covered in nasty fingerprints. The plexiglass is nasty and not cleaned. With covid still a thing there was ZERO precautions by the employees or patrons. 35 ppl waiting 2 ppl working. Go to Portsmouth. Excellent service and left with the id...imagine that. What can ya expect from a bmv in a town like ironton. Everything listed and so much more. Remember lock your doors at ironton bmv and count ur change when leaving. This review is written after 7 visits between july and August. Note the cat lady conversation was in July. Gotta feel bad for her as I bet she thought they were nice ladies 🤣🤷‍♀️ while they talked dirt about her and her pets nonstop.
