I love the ducks here. It is a wild pond. I wonder if there are frogs or turtles here? I want to take care of this pond when I see the ducks here, especially the small cheeping babies.

A lovely little park with a nifty bridge over looking a picturesque pond. Plenty of ducks and ducklings. There is also a community garden and picnic tables some of which are covered. Right on the 128 & 131 bus lines.

Nice quiet neighborhood spot with easy parking and a flat walking trail, a bridge that crosses a small pond (benches on the bridge make great place for watching the ducks while eating lunch). The traditional in-ground bbq pit seems to be inoperable (as I’m writing this in March 2022) but there’s a small “stage” along with covered and uncovered picnic benches overlooking the playfield. No play equipment or playground for kiddos, FYI. The part of the loop along 8th Ave can seem a little sketchy because there’s no sidewalk and a small shoulder, and it’s a 2 lane road where many cars are going too fast; I recommend walking against traffic on that side.

Visited here to do an MLK Day volunteer clean-up. The place was immaculate when we arrived. Small, but beautiful. Very quiet.

I don't think so! Seems like first come first serve situation!
You have to call the park office to get the permit. You will find the number in the park on the announcement board.
There is no play set, but there is a cool bridge over a pond that my kids love to play on. There is a hill to run up and down, some fun sculptures to run around, and forested areas to explore.
