Very clean campsite with lots of beautiful views. Stayed in the winter and didn't have a problem getting a camp spot. There was only one other person there. Close walking distance to the Garden of God's rec area and wilderness. Even saw a baby bobcat run through the camp one day. Definitely will be coming back here again

Lovely quiet little campground, best suited for tent camping or a car/van camping setup. Bringing a large RV or a truck and camper as I did is not recommended, most sites aren't level, and there's no electricity, but it can be done anyways! Just don't expect to be level or put the slides out without being crafty. You're best showing up early in the morning if it's a weekend, it fills up fast. But, I was told by an official that you can stay overnight in the Golden Circle parking lot just to the north if you need a place to crash for a night while waiting on a spot to open up.

Great primitive camp sites perfect for tents and hammocks. Some of the sites even have a little cliff and overlook.

Great camping spot. Only has ten sites but all of them were nice and flat with lots of tall pine trees for shade. Immediate access to some trails right off our site. This place is fairly secluded and super quiet. Just a short distance from Indian point and the observation trail.

No. There is a single potable water pump that serves the entire campground. There is no electric hook up.

I think Harrisburg is closest. Or you can bring your own camping shower.

If there is no attendant, how do you pay for your spot???

There are envelopes you fill out and put your money in. Then deposit the envelope in the drop box. It is located to the right as you enter the campground loop.

Website says "tents and trailers". Are small RVs allowed?

I love this campground for primitive tent camping. I would think you could fit a smaller motorhome but not sure how well it would work for a large one. Cave-in -Rock campground is close by and better suited for a motorhome.
