Owner was very nice. This campground is a family owned work in progress park. There are some long-term campers there that do make the park unsightly because they do not keep their site picked up, which is a shame , because I can see where this may deter some from stopping. Sites were level.

We stayed at Powell’s Creekside for 2 weeks while my husband was attending a training. A great experience! Our cabin was very clean and well cared for. Marjorie and the whole family went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable , even bringing us extra blankets on an extra chilly night. Very family friendly. My kids made new friends and enjoyed playing in the woods and pond. Would definitely stay again!

Tenting spot was secluded and great, just way too hot and humid. We upgraded to a cabin for the rest of our stay. Marjorie is super friendly and accommodating. Indoor shower and washing machine facilities. Indoor flush toilet very clean. It was a nice experience with a friendly family with lots of friendly kids. Will stay again during cooler weather.

My family used one of their cabin's and it had a perfect view of the pond. The property also has a scenic trail that takes you to a nearby creek. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking to camp in the area.

Powell's Creekside Haven does allow pets, on a leash and under control of course. Unfortunately, we are not designed to be a permanent residence. Thank you for asking!
We do not allow loud music normally, but we have a very nice group tent area away from the rest of the campers that MIGHT be far enough away to not bother anyone (if it's not too late at night). We haven't had a chance to put in power down there yet. Give us a call if you want to come out during the day and we can try it out.
Yes, we are open year round.
