Longview Campground

We are on a 3 month trip from Long Island, NY to Wyoming/Colorado and back. This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds at which we've ever stayed. It's unusual to get full hookup at a county/state campground and we worried that it would be congested being so close to Kansas City. That couldn't be farther from the truth. It's quiet, clean, spacious, beautiful and friendly. And visiting Kansas City couldn't be easier. This campground is a wonderful surprise!

Very clean, peaceful and serene! A nice 2 night restful stay. Would stay again! Not too far from Kansas City! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice quiet campground with spacious RV sites. The sites are either gravel or paved, but most of them will need a little leveling assistance. Very nice hosts.

Oh man we had a Blast!! It was just the hubby and I and our husky/great pyrenees pup and the attendant was wonderful. She set us up in the back of the camp. It was a bit far from the bathrooms but my Honey didn't mind driving up there for us. Our pup had a great time too, he got a bit spooked from the sounds of the coyotes (which I thought was awesome) but he warmed up by the fire and enjoyed his night away with us. We will definitely come back. Hubby says to add he appreciates the military discount as well.
