This place is my favorite place to take my family. There is deep spots for the big kids and also shallow spots for the small kids. Great little hiking trail and don't forget the spring which makes this place so special. A local favorite! Also public bathrooms 😁

There were bathrooms, but I don't recall a spigot.

Does someone need to make reservations or is it like Shawnee Creek camp where it's just a first come first serve primative campground where you drop your money in a box. Do they have a picnic area/swim beach for those who want to come swim & picnic.

How is the river access for putting in a canoes? The flood a couple years ago tore up the gravel bar pretty bad. Has it gotten any better?

We've been the last couple of years but weren't able to back the trailer up to the usual gravel bar that we used to put in at. We end up putting in just upstream from that spot. Its really rocky but we can get the trailer closer to the water. Just wondering if the path and gravel bar straight ahead of the bathrooms is in any better condition?

Yes,smallmouth, some Google eye,green sunfish have caught small fish on small ultralight good fun!!

how many sets of caves are there that you can go into? i know of 2 and one that says you cant.
