I scheduled an appointment through my provider, and I just received a message from polyclinic that you have an appointment scheduled at 9:30 with Dr. X. They didn't mention which place I have to go. I called back on the number they sent me in the text, and no one picked up on that number. So, eventually I call my provider and gave them the doctor last name and the number, and they told me the address. I reached the building, but they don't have any reception at the entrance. I asked someone randomly and they directed me to 9th floor finally in the building. Once I reached the 9th floor, it was 9:40 already and they told me that I have gone beyond their 9 min window. I mean, they didn't mention the address, and the number they sent me to call for further details didn't work, and then after all this told me I was a min late, so now I have to reschedule. This is the worst clinic scheduling I had to go through

Exhausting and time consuming. I wanted to schedule a checkup for some minor issues and to establish primary care. My first appointment was cancelled because of snow. Understandable. I rescheduled it for about two weeks later. That appointment was cancelled because the primary care physician they assigned me to (I was willing to accept anyone) was expected to go into labor. Okay, cool - it doesn’t make sense why they’d assign me to someone who was known to be becoming unavailable soon, but people make mistakes. So I rescheduled another for about two weeks later. A month behind the originally planned date. Finally, after seeing the doctor, he prescribes me something for my issue. We were supposed to have a follow up, but there was no guidance post-appointment or initiative taken by the admin to have one scheduled. Also, I come to find out that the prescription was sent to a pharmacy in Oklahoma. I ended up calling the Polyclinic to have it sent to the right one, and I got the vibe that (despite being extremely polite) the admin answering the call was annoyed with my request to have it sent to the right pharmacy based on the way she rapidly hung up the phone. The medication still isn’t at my pharmacy and I don’t have a follow up scheduled. It’s about 2 months past when I was originally trying to have my issue looked at, but I’m tired of having to go through 20 minute phone calls just to get one thing done, so I’m not coming back. I don’t know how places like these are allowed to operate.

I have been trying to call and talk to the endocrinology office for 3 months. They do not answer their phones. Instead I left many messages. They do not return phone calls. Finally one of the operators was able to get me to the back line after Jasmine apparently called me a liar. I did get a call to schedule and appointment. I confirmed it would be virtual many times. I was told I would get instructions. I never did they also set it up for In person. They said it was my fault for not being on the virtual call on time. Well you don’t get the link needed to get on the call if they set it up as in person. Again I tried to call them, waited on hold for 20 mins now pst my appointment. I get a receptionist to push me through to the back line where a second jasmine also as rude as can be who told me she didn’t care it was my fault I wasn’t on time. Are you kidding me, I’m out of several of my medications and they are unwilling to help. This is disgusting behavior. Do not go here you will not be able to get help if you need it.

To be transparent; this one star is due to the Polyclinic Patient Financial Services, and their third-party billing department, Meridian. I've had what I would describe as a living nightmare. The pattern is that I give both Polyclinic and Meridian the exact billing instructions (two steps, not a difficult process), they then continue to send the bills to the wrong party, and then send me to collections without calling me. This has happened 5-7 times in the past 6 months. Each time I call, I get a short-tempered, apathetic employee. Each time I ask them to properly bill the correct party. Each time they say they make a note of it, and retract the collections notice. It then just happens again. It is infuriating. Their incompetency is now lowering my credit score. I imagine this department is held together with popsicle sticks and chewing gum. They're all united in that they don't care to resolve any issue that takes a modicum of thought and follow through. The American health care system is already so convoluted and thievish. Then you add in this opaque third party billing system, where you can only reach lower level employees, and they refuse to let you speak with management. It's basically a trap. They can charge you for whatever you want, and they would refuse to verify it with you, repeat the same few phrases, and then fall silent. They aren't able to answer any questions. I've already decided I'm completely leaving the Polyclinic solely because of how incompetent their billing department is. I'd given them -5 starts if that was an option. Enough is enough.
