Not a very helpful place. I tried to reach out to them and they turned me away and wanted me to contact other places for disability help.

Don't work for this company technology department. They don't even want you to take breaks what they promise isn't true you have been warned I was treated better working for restaurants.

Google won't allow me to have zero stars. This place is supposed to be full of compassion and empathy and a shining beacon of hope. Instead what you get is childish behavior that is tolerated by their senior staff members. And because it's a non-profit I'm guessing they aren't accountable to anyone but themselves. The old adage seems appropriate here, you get what you pay for (or in this case what you don't pay for). While I don't have experience with other disability rights non-profits, you couldn't pay me to utilize the services (or lack thereof) from this place. So if you want to be kicked while you're already down, this is the place for you!

Disability Rights of Texas (DRtx) is a non profit organization that provides legal services to the disabled community. I worked with these attorneys for only 4 months and I didn’t have to worry about anything! When my attorney was at the all she was able to do part of the litigation, she made sure that I was still going to be represented by an attorney through another organization. The attorneys and staff at DRtx are professional, reliable and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They saved my life literally. I wish I could give 10 stars for everything they did.

You'll probably want to contact the office by phone or in person. I don't think anyone monitors this site from the office.

My son had a series of strokes. Has applied SSI but at least another 3 months for approval. Has no income at all. How does he survive?
