I never been treated with such rudeness in my life. My employment was asking for some documents. (For me to return to my usual schedule.) Long story short, I was asked by the ‘PSYCHIATRIST,’ (with much rudeness) “why don’t you get your bruhs to fill out your paperwork?” Me: because you have the accolades and professionalism to fill my forms out. Plus, you’re my psychiatrist. ___ terminated my contract immediately after that. Literally. I only had a few sessions here. And I’ve been a professional in my field for many years, _ intended to take me out of my employment for an entire year. I have NEVER mentioned anything about taken extended leave. I actually was doing the opposite. Every appointment, I was pleading to be placed back into employment. The psychiatrist even agreed in my last in-person session appointment. Bills don’t stop, first time being a husband, debt collectors, pregnant wife. These are just a few reasons that I’ve given as to why I’m so ready to get back to my employment. With no explanation as to why, _ “FELT” like I wasn’t ready to go back. After being out for 3 months already. Personally, I don’t think they had any intentions to do my paperwork. I came here just to talk and ended up being gaslighted, triggered (intentionally), and left with more on my shoulders than what I came. WORST EXPERIENCE!

The main reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating, 1) the person the does the callbacks is cold and callous for someone working in contact with individuals with mental health concerns. 2) I was charged a $65 no show fee for an appointment that I didn’t know existed. If I hadn’t been seen since October 2020 because I couldn’t afford it. Why would another appointment be scheduled? Who does reminder calls? No one and this office apparently.

Let me start this off by saying I've been to multiple mental health facilities in four diiferent states Nevada, North Carolina, Michigan, and Idaho. The experience I had today with the "receptionist" over the phone is by far the worst experenice I've had with any mental health facility. From start to finish she had a pure attitude over the phone she was condescending and extremely rude. All I was doing was asking a question about a refill. She tried to gaslight me and try to say what I discussed with my therapist was wrong. She ended the conversation by saying " go to the hospital". I understand that certain medications they are more careful with then others. That being said having somebody cold turkey a medication is extremely dangerous and is unnecessarily putting a patient at risk. I had a friend in High School who drowned in his shower due to a seizure because his doctor pulled him off this medication "cold turkey" he was ironically told close to the same thing I was told today AND HE WAS ACTUALLY ON HIS WAY TO THE HOSPITAL. This "receptionist" has no business working in the mental health field with the attitude she displayed today.

Questions & Answers

Do they accept Medicaid? If so, do they provide any type of prescription medications? What are the requirements, if any?(i.e. groups, drug screens, etc.)

I believe they do accept medicaid, and yes. Brenda Cupp is the NP who works there to provide prescriptions when needed. You are required a seperate visit to meet with her if you are wanting to come for therapy. The therapists and her in tandem for medications. Brenda is truly wonderful and listens to your problems. She likes to try things out for a bit so it may seem slow, but give her the chance and she will improve your life. I believe that if they have a suspicion of drug abuse they will require a drug screen. But under normal circumstances, no, they do not require them. I don't know of any other requirements, other then she will only fill scripts a few months at a time. So it will require you coming back monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, as she deams necessary

Do you take medicaid?
