I have lived at Givens Estates for 16 years. I have transitioned into the Assisted Living Facility on campus and I am very happy with my experience and the care at Givens. Everyone is so wonderful and pleasant.

I would not recommend working here as a Nurse. Management will not support you. And there is no Bereavement policy.

Givens Estates is a senior care facility at coverage Hill with Apartments houses Elderly Care the cost varies between apartments and houses and the development that's called Gerber Village which is close to that but where the old gerbera plant used to be since the prices vary so much I would highly suggest calling the facility and asking them what their prices are for what you're looking for I'm a maintenance person there so pretty much any everything I tell you here is factual
Not @ this property That would be other Givens properties
Our Entrance Fees amortize over a specified period of time. There are three Entrance Fee options. The non-refundable plan amortizes over 48 months, after which there is no refund. The 50% refundable plan amortizes over 23 months, and will have a balance of 50% of what was originally paid. The 90% refundable plan amortizes in 3 months, and will have a balance of 90% of what was originally paid. A refund balance will be paid to you or your estate after you are no longer a resident.
Givens Estates accepts Medicare and Medicaid for certified stays in our health center. We also accept long term care insurance for home care, assisted living and skilled nursing.
Yes. Residents' monthly fees include the cost of telephone, internet, and cable TV.
Givens Estates is not going to lock down due to the pandemic. We will implement measures to mitigate the spread of the virus due to the more transmissible Omicron variant like suspending group activities. The situation on campus today is very different than a year ago because more than 99 percent of residents are vaccinated and boosted. We will have cases among Residents and team members but they should be milder due to high vaccination rates and other mitigation efforts that are in place.
Parking spaces in front of the buildings and in the upper most lot at Asbury where the construction trailer is currently which will be moved in the next couple months.
Good evening. Individuals with mobility challenges might benefit from our outpatient therapy services and in home services. Assisted living is also an option for residents whose needs can't be met in their home. Every resident has a social worker that can also assist with walking through these types of decisions.
Yes they have a salon😊 for residents only. Very nice people work there😊
Yes, Givens Estates is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). We have independent living residences and a continuum of care consisting of home care services, assisted living, skilled nursing, and short-term rehabilitation services.
We are pet friendly. Residents can have up to two pets. There are weight limitations for dogs. We do not rent our residences. If you are looking for affordable rental options for seniors, please check out Givens Gerber Park at www.givensgerberpark.org.
Yes that's what they do...
Givens Gerber Park is our affordable community. You can reach them at www.givensgerberpark.org. Givens Estates is located in South Asheville on Sweeten Creek Road. You can check us out at www.givensestates.org.
There is no discrimination, if this is what you mean?
Yes, each level of care you move up to is an additional fee. For example, if you begin in independent living and need to move up to assisted living the fee goes up. Same for moving between assisted living and memory care or to nursing home. Givens staff is very helpful and can explain this in better detail for you, call them.
