I have lived at Givens Estates for 16 years. I have transitioned into the Assisted Living Facility on campus and I am very happy with my experience and the care at Givens. Everyone is so wonderful and pleasant.

I would not recommend working here as a Nurse. Management will not support you. And there is no Bereavement policy.

IsGivens going to shut down again? Thanks Janet David

Janet David | Jan 4, 2022
JOHN COWAN | Jan 4, 2022

Givens Estates is not going to lock down due to the pandemic. We will implement measures to mitigate the spread of the virus due to the more transmissible Omicron variant like suspending group activities. The situation on campus today is very different than a year ago because more than 99 percent of residents are vaccinated and boosted. We will have cases among Residents and team members but they should be milder due to high vaccination rates and other mitigation efforts that are in place.

Where are all the new residents going to park in Friendship park?

Janet David | Oct 31, 2021

Parking spaces in front of the buildings and in the upper most lot at Asbury where the construction trailer is currently which will be moved in the next couple months.

Susan Markendorf | Oct 31, 2021
JOHN COWAN | Oct 31, 2021

Good evening. Individuals with mobility challenges might benefit from our outpatient therapy services and in home services. Assisted living is also an option for residents whose needs can't be met in their home. Every resident has a social worker that can also assist with walking through these types of decisions.

When you go into the nursing home section, how do you pay for this service?

George Lewis | Nov 1, 2018
Michael Figielski | Nov 1, 2018

Yes, each level of care you move up to is an additional fee. For example, if you begin in independent living and need to move up to assisted living the fee goes up. Same for moving between assisted living and memory care or to nursing home. Givens staff is very helpful and can explain this in better detail for you, call them.
