The Vet Center is a great resource. They're a branch of the VA health administration, though they only see veterans who served in a combat zone. If you have questions call ahead.

You can go to Audie Murphy, Frank Tejeda or the North Central Federal Clinic. They offer mental health services to all veterans. You might want to call ahead & double check, the policy used to be your could walk in your first visit or call the veterans crisis line & they'll give you a referral. Also, the VA is offering more services via secure video chat that way you don't even have to go in.
Either go online or request by letter. Online will be faster then mail. Look up where "where to go to get DD214. Hope that helps.
