conclusion, i will not be going back and do not recommend South Ppint Family Practice at all. finally heard back from the manager of my doctor’s office and her manager. took me calling them 4 times back to back today to get any traction after 3 weeks of me calling. long story short they all sided with my doctor that fibromyalgia is a more diet and exercised based treatment. yet again completely dismissing the multitude of symptoms and other diagnoses i do have that could be related to everything going on. the manager said her manager could refer to me rheumatoid testing but wouldn’t recommend because it’s not related to fibromyalgia. i told them that won’t be necessary because i’m going to find another doctor.

Leaving a 2 star review to be fair; considering I need to find a new doctor and practice that actually cares. My appointment was canceled within 2 minutes of arriving late within the cut off time which is (10 minutes). I tired to check in for my appointment with the receptionist (Shannon) after she completely disregarded the traumatic event that I encountered moments before my appointment. Instead of having any regard she stated I was late for my 4:15 appointment and canceled me. The receptionist next to her laughed like I was joke. Since covid it’s hard to even get seen by a doctor these days, the least you could do is provide some professional courtesy to your patients instead of disregarding them. I suppose the whole practice wants to go home by closing time instead of providing quality care to their patients and families. Customer service is a long shot these days and finding a doctor that actually cares is almost non existing.

Loved the doctor but received a bill from a collection agency - never from the doctors office! They charged me $610. to remove a splinter from the bottom of my foot!! Never told me there would be a charge for that amount! I guess I need to find an office where they keep their patients informed

No, the phone system goes out is what the staff told me. It used to happen often. It's probably internet dependent. But, I have had difficulties reaching them too.
They keep hiring new doctors and P.A.'s. Therefore, they are accepting new patients. Some doctors there do not accept new patients. But, it's a great place because they are open seven days a week due to their urgent care extended hours.
