I have lived here for 3 years and have been very satisfied. The apt is large with a very large kitchen. It is true that the management has changed 3 times but I can't complain about any of them. Repair requests for the most part are handled quickly and professionally, and before Covid maintenance features like exterminator or air filters was part of the package. Internet and cable costs are much lower. (included in the rent)

Real problem with porch pirates. I've had amazon, fedex, even grubhub orders stolen from my front door. I asked if I could have my packages diverted to the front office instead, but they wont take them. If you buy anything online, find another apartment.

I have lived here for some time and over the years in three different apartments within the complex. There has been a lot of change in management and the last time, when Cushman and Wakefield came along there was no information sent out to residents of the change. In August I sent an email and asked for the breezeways to be power washed because it looks like I live on skid row. No reply to my email and no power washing has occurred. They replaced my stove and a member of the maintenance team took my old one away with my cooking tools in the bottom. I sent an email when I got home that night to ask for my things back of which was a cast iron skillet that was my grandmothers, and followed up the next day. The team member acknowledged my email but did not have a reason why they did not respond to me. They said they "threw it away" already. Why would you remove a stove without telling the resident you are going to do that? Why would you not look in the stove? Why did you see my email and not call me. My neighbors leave trash outside and there are stains everywhere. The exit signs were torn down and left. Who knows what people are going to tear down next. I told the office but they don't care. My neighbors led their dogs relieve themselves in front of my door. I sent an email with pictures and no response. I went onto the corporate website and placed an inquiry. No response. I call the office and no response. I think the staff does not work here anymore. As a resident I am not cared for. This is even displayed in the verbiage with communication to residents. Is this a place to live, yes but not one that feels like home anymore. Why is this important? The more you let go the more run down this place will become. Is the office open? If not, let residents know you do not plan to answer the phone.

I like living here. The complex has been through different owners since I have been here but all have been decent. I just wish some of the residents had more respect for where they live and not throw trash all around the complex.Marquita, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate your feedback and we'll be sure to share your thoughts with the full management team. We look forward to providing your stellar service for the entirety of your stay with us! Sincerely, The Independence Park Management Team

Nice apartments
Hello, Teresa. We require all applicants make three times the monthly rental rate before taxes. We do not currently accept any aid programs as income. Good luck with your search and have a wonderful day!
Currently, the fitness center is open with limited hours due to COVID and the state's mandate of 30% occupancy max. It is open Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm, and 10:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday. We are hoping this will be able to change as the mandate changes and eventually return to the 24 hour access it used to be.
