The camp host were great folks. Camping sites were very nice and easy to back into. Kayaking on the lake was easy to access from the boat ramp.

Beautiful, forested State Park located on a reservoir lake, with a boat ramp. Clean bathrooms and laundry areas,(2 located, 1 at each end). Nice playground! Just wish I had a boat!!

Is this on Lake Oconee? Is there a map of the campsites so you know which one to ask for?

Todd Newman | Nov 1, 2019

The Campground is not "on " the lake it is about 2 blocks off the main body of the Lake. There is a Beach and Pavillion area that is on the lake is part of the CG. There are a couple of waterside sites for RV'S in the cove and the Tent camping there both close the the Dock. Used to be a CG map online. Georgia Power changed the website and apparently took it down. I will dig one out and post it in Google Maps pics of the CG.
