our AC has broken for almost one month, the whole July. We request the maintenance four times and still didn’t solve the problem. In the hot summer, the temperature in the apartment is almost the same as outside, even in this emergency situation, we still need to wait for one or two days. That’s so horrible!

My lower rating for the application process. I applied for an apartment that stated it was available now. I call the rental company to ask if it’s move in ready due to a specific time frame of me needing a place and they stated yes. It will be ready on that date. I asked all of this before applying as that date I couldn’t move from. Online they also had a move in special for waved application and administrative fees, so I asked if that was for the apartment I was applying to And they stated yes. I go to apply and they charge me the admin and application fee. I call before applying and they stated it would be applied to my first month rent. When I get my lease the administrative and application fee isn’t used as a credit. I call and they now say it’s only for one bedroom units. When it’s approved I’m told the unit may not be finished by my move in date and for the first time in the process Im Told the company policy says to allow 7 days, in short it wouldn’t be ready on my move in date. Which made me have to go to a hotel for a little under a week. Long story short I feel like I was told a lot of half truths Just to get the unit rented.

The leasing office is always on top of things. Whenever I have a problem they get back to me same day. Work orders are fulfilled usually next business day, and they always follow up to see if the problem was fixed. There's not much more you can ask from an apartment complex.

I lived here for one year in a 1-bedroom on the top floor and I LOVED it. For the price, the apartments are really nice and comfortable. I really liked having a balcony that felt private and basically overlooked trees. I also had vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and big windows -- it was the perfect place to finish my last year of online grad school. My neighbors were friendly and the place was generally quiet and peaceful. Maintenance was great and would come right away. Only negative is that I did see roaches more than a handful of times during the summer, but I guess that's to be expected with such aged units and being so close to the forest. I would recommend avoiding the ground floor apartments for this reason.

Questions & Answers

I've seen the apartments and like the management.. a lot to like. I'm way beyond graduate school--am wondering if the atmosphere is 'grad school'.. or more diverse.

Some families live here too, if that's what you're getting at. But yes, there are definitely young people as well.
