I don't think the shelter can take injured animals directly.but,I'm not sure.maybe if there's no problem with the dog thats needing medical care.i would call first since,they rely on donations only.

The owner is easy to work with so I suggest going by in person and starting the paperwork process.

I don't have a definite answer for u but as a level 7 travel guide on here I decided to go through the reviews and there has been some harsh stuff said about the manager or someone named Regina. always told myself I would never be the person to give away my dog. Nomatter what. I’ve had her for 6 years- she has been my best friend for that long. We’ve tried to make it work for a year and a half now and she just cannot handle well with small children. It breaks my heart. I will be very diligent to find her the best home. They have 60-70 cats currently and sadly cannot accept more at this time. I recommend posting a photo of the kitty to the Sullivan County Animal Shelter Facebook's page and the volunteers will share it out to find it a home asap! Thanks so much for caring about the kitty!! There needs to be more people like you!

Contact rocky top vet office in Greeneville Tn. They have a feral cat program . Robin quillen is over it

Sorry took a dog but they only charged for the shots I couldn't prove I given which was 10$ a shot total of 20$ well worth it over county

Have you advertised on the TriCities Lost and Found facebook page? He belongs to someone. We generally direct people to their local animal control for strays.

Call them first. I know that recently they have reached capacity with Cats but I am not sure about Dogs. If I had a little more space and less animals, I'd take him in myself.

The best thing to do right now is to contact your local animal control officer. They should send someone out to assess the situation and take it from there.

He is generally a very sweet dog but anytime he does something he knows he shouldnt he immediately gets overly defensive, and this is before we even tell him no sometimes. This behavior is just to risky for us to have around our 4 year old daughter. I believe he needs someone to be 1 on 1 with, he doesnt deserve to be killed because of his anxiety

My neighbor has two pups,they live in appalachia va 24216,their about 4 to 6 months old.

I called to see if she would take a cat because he is so loving and she told me she was full and to take him to Sullivan County animal shelter......they have a huge cat room and why would a no kill animal shelter send you to a kill shelter???????

Call the closest no kill shelter like the one above. You could either take him there or they may come and get him for ya. If u would like to adopt the dog, tell them ahead of time. That way the owner has a fair amount of time to find and claim their dog first. They can give you all the info you need to do what's best for the dog

We have approximately 80 cats. Have u had him neutered. Call 2395237, Regina says who comes in. Please get him neutered. Margaret Mitchell spay and neuter clinic on Lee Hwy is a low cost vet. Also there are two other organizations that help. Google Animal defense league, they can guide you with help to neuter. Also you can put in paper free to good home. Sullivan county animal shelter just euthanized 63 cats last Wednesday so I would try to find a rescue. Some can arrange to meet you hallway. The Bridge Home Cat Room is at full capacity.

Please call animal control. We take in animals from owners who have to give them up. We do not take strays. We are sorry.

When i was there the other day they were full.. You would just have to call and ask. I would try the washington county animal shelter in Johnson city..they may have room for more.

I have called for 3 yrs because of stray cats in our area & it is a no everytime. So obviously they are full all the time not just this season.

No. They are a rescue. They do not have a vet or groomer here.

Bridge home is all breed rescue but we have no open kennels. Few had a few good volunteers who could help with events perhaps we could get more animals adopted. When kennel opens pit are always welcome but right now we are full
