Here’s what you want to know: Kids under 6: Free Kids 6+ and Adults: $8 Seniors: $5 Knowledgeable and friendly staff, live sea creatures, exhibits, walking paths to the pier and woods, and it’s owned by the Edisto State Park so it also gets you into the beach entrance as well. My 4 year old loved it.

Quiet little center with neat exibits and informative videos and audio clips. We have a 8 and 12 year old and both liked the experience.

Even though it isn’t huge, it’s packed with fun exhibits for kids. My 3 year old enjoyed about 2 hours there! Mostly playing on the shrimp boat—it has lights, radios, ignition, ropes, etc. The rangers are all incredibly friendly! I liked all of the information about the local wildlife—the Loggerhead turtle part was especially visually interesting. We have a state park pass, so we got in with that—very nice!
