This is a very beautiful place! It seems that it has been trashed unfortunately and it’s also a little spooky if you are by yourself. There is also mold so be careful. I heard that they were gonna tear it down and build apartments. I hope not. This place is amazing and a wonderful piece of history. I wish I had someone to go back with me so I could feel a little more comfortable and not so on edge haha. This place has so much potential and it’s a beautiful piece of land. There’s a lot of kitties and I think someone feeds them regularly. I also got a lot of great photos. <3 I love this place. It has a mysterious and magical vibe to it.

How can I buy this house ? I would like to get historical loan to restore the home and the property

It was built in 1948. Not old enough for an historic loan. Lots of money and fine features when it was built. So sad it will go.

Is anyone ever going to buy this place or is it going to sit there until it needs to be demolished? That would be a shame because this place is beautiful and obviously very historical; a huge and relevant part of Anderson, SC's history.

I can’t believe I posted this a year ago and no one has responded. It’s so sad to see such a beautiful residence deteriorating so quickly. Someone please save this place! Also, WHY is it not on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places????
