Hotel is in a great location, 0.5 miles from union station which makes it convenient. Check in was seamless and were surprised to find out our room had been ready. The room was nice, a tad outdated for Hyatt standards. Water pressure was good, room was nice and cool, beds comfortable. The hotel does offer concierge for bags just in case you have a weird flight and still want to explore. Staff at the front of the hotel were friendly, but could’ve offer recommendations on foodstuff. Overall great stay, but was surprised to find out that what you pay online, is not the final bill. I was charged an additional 190 during my stay. Made it frustrating as I’ve never experienced such before.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with pur stay here. The beds were spring mattresses and awfully uncomfortable. The refrigerator in the room was barely large enough for our daughter's medications. While the breakfast served in the restaurant was amazing, it is not a full-time restaurant. With DC being a tourist attraction, we were arriving back to the hotel at odd hours and, often, prepared food was not available. We opted once to purchase sandwiches and chips from the gifts hope for lunch and were disappointed by both the taste and the price. We were hoping for a view of the city and were again disappointed to see that we could only see the skylight of the lobby from our room. Valet is NOT complimentary and will run a guest ~$60 per night in addition to your room rate. We stayed at two Hampton Inn and Suites during our drive up and home and both of these hotels beat the Hyatt in all areas hands down! If you want to see crackheads, this hotel has plenty just outside the building on all sides toking up in plain view. ...do not recommend.

This is a great place to stay! We enjoyed the ability to walk, taxi, Uber, or Lift as needed. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The room was clean, well kept, and the staff wonderful! The pool was nice and they have a bit of outdoor seating close yet separate from the pool. We enjoyed the facilities, amenities, and service.

Location, location, location. And don't they know it! In all the years I have stayed there for conferences it feels like only the lobby has been updated. Rest of the property is very dated. Careful in adjusting your shower head that you don't pull it out of the wall. But your room will be clean, and, again, location.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for reaching out! We serve both, Continental and full American Breakfast buffet. During our lobby & restaurant refresh, our breakfast is served in the iconic Thornton Room situated on the top floor of the hotel’s South Tower, offering views of the U.S. Capitol grounds. À la carte menu will be available at our newly-refreshed restaurant, Article One - American Grill, once the project is concluded, shortly after Labor Day weekend. There is a couple of quick grab-and-go breakfast spots nearby, including The Market located in our hotel's lobby. West Wing Cafe and Sandwiches by Phillip are across the street and are our favorite! Union Station 8 minutes away has a full food court with many breakfast options (including Chick-fil-A!) Thank you, Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill team
Hi Evelyn, Greetings from the nation's capital! Unfortunately hotels in Washington, D.C. do not have shuttle service to and from any of the area airports. You can, however, easily get to our hotel from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) by metro or catch a taxi / ride sharing service and be here in no time! We are looking forward to having you!
No casino, as of Thursday morning.
I visit this hotel regularly. I've never had an issue nor have i heard of an instance
