AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Downtown

I would start by saying that I would never stay at this hotel again. I had multiple issues, but they all generally revolved around an uncaring and dismissive staff. I had a billing issue and I was made to feel like I was putting them out by trying to have it addressed, which it wasn't. There were AC issues in the room (on 100 degree days) and I was put on interminable hold and then told they would get back to me, they didn't. I tried to call after the trio to get my billing issues answered and the immediate response is, "Thanks for calling, please hold!" which goes nowhere, so I finally just opened the issue through the corporate website. I stayed at 3 different Marriott hotels in 3 different cities on this trip and 2 of the 3 were great experiences, however, I was very happy to leave and not return to the AC Hotel DC Downtown when my stay was over.

Hotel is pretty new and therefore isn’t run down like the Mayflower two blocks over. A very convenient WaWa if that’s your thing, across the street. Several decent coffee shops (not 💫🦌) within a block, check them out!! Titanium member and a room with a window out the front of the building is considered an upgrade :) Front Desk Staff/Service was very friendly, and the hotel was exceptionally clean.

I really love the location of the hotel. It's walking distance to everything and the neighborhood is good. It's more of a business location, so the tourist population is lower than other areas. It's not a great hotel for children which makes it a fantastic hotel for adults wanting a getaway. This brand is one of the best values in the Marriott lineup. This is hotel is a great example of all that AC has to offer.

Stayed a couple of days for business. No complaints about the room - plenty of room and enjoyed the modern architectural flare. The lobby bar / restaurant was also great with espresso to get me moving and a lovely selection of cocktails. Would stay here again
