Went here as a kid in the early 90s to buy candy with dimes and nickels. A charming little grocer. Not a whole lot has changed. The check-out clerk told me kids still come with their loose change after school. Lots of nostalgia being at Widmer's after a 30 year gap. A bit like being in a pleasant time warp.

I've been going to Widmer's my entire life. As a kid, I would spend my $2 weekly allowance on candy and ice cream sandwiches. As an adult I really appreciate shopping the fresh meat counter and am always impressed with the produce and Widmer's thoughtful sourcing of affordable local products.

I know they have a butcher area in the market where you can get meats fresh...I would imagine they would be more than happy to help you in any way with that !
