My Lab has a full tear ACL..very frustrating. Unfortunately we cannot do surgery with him due to a rambunctious brother who would not be able to leave him alone to facilitate rest/healing. We decided on Ortho Care after our vet recommended them. Ordering/receiving the kit was a breeze. We had our vet do the casting..their suggestion. Turnaround was about 2 weeks & the fit is perfect. Little tricky (for us) to get it on initially..cust service was fantastic re-ideas/videos etc. My dog is doing really well with the brace & tolerates it very well. We are at about 2-4 hrs a day. Should prob do more. It def seems to help especially when exercising or doing frisbee-play. Slowly slowly..I’m really hoping to see those tendons etc strengthen over time with the use of this device..highly recommend this company.

The perfect solution The brace fits very well and stays in place while she runs and plays! It has also given our Husky-Shepherd, Mocha , confidence on slippery floors where she was previously unsure. She doesnt even mind wearing it… its like she knows it helps her with her partial cruciate ligament tear. I am very pleased with this brace!

My 8 1/2 year old yellow lab (100 lbs) had TPLO surgery on his left knee then partially tore the right 3 years later. We opted for the custom knee brace from AOC despite my trepidation about the casting and measuring process. It was a great decision and the process was easier than expected. The brace fit right out of the package and the break in period for my dog was minimal, maybe 2-3 sessions for him to get used to it. Now, he brings it to me every day when he's ready for his walk and has no problems wearing it! We only use it on his walks, usually about 1/2 hour a day or at other times when he's going to be more active. He is not limping anymore and energy and motivation he didn't have a couple of months ago. I highly recommend this product - you won't regret it.
