I’ve lived here since April 2021 & I have regretted every single moment of my stay at Amara. Through Covid, this complex was flexible but as soon as the ban lifted they stopped caring and became super neglectful, but want their rent on time.. I have been calling about my air conditioning not working since they changed the heat to A/c back in March. Someone came out that spoke no English a few days ago and he didn’t fix the issue.. I had to buy my own air filter which cost $18 that I’m sure I won’t be seeing as a refund. I am currently writing this review as I sit in a this hot apartment with my 6 year old son. On top of that they tried to illegally evict me last week because their staff do not communicate with eachother in regards to rent payments.. I regret signing my lease but will be moving very soon!! I do not recommend this complex. They are charging me $1,478 for a 2 bd 2 bth with non working a/c in this 100+ Arizona weather & to top it all off, there are bugs everywhere,. If I could rate a -100,000,000 I would !!!! Do not move here !!!

Lived here for about a year now, I've see lots of new changes. Beginning with maintenance, they actually get the job done!!! They pick up grounds every morning and clean laundry rooms. Clean and courteous people[ Michelle and team]. Office staff is great, Itzel greets you with a smile and eager to assist. I will be GLADLY signing a new lease. Thank Amara Staff!!!

We are finally moving out this month after living here 2 years. Its a decent place for $900 a month but not with the recent rent increases and no renovations besides the windows being repanelled. This new management never contacts you or includes you in any notices. The door is almost always locked to the office and the phone always goes to voicemail without a call back. 4 washers in the laundry room are always out if order, and the ones that do work leaves your clothes soaked. The dryers usually leave your clothes damp as well. Be prepared to wash and dry your load multiple times. At one point we did not have water for 9 days. Maintenance did not find it a priority. There are constant water leaks and walkways unusable. A/C in the summer doesnt work half the time. There is also a cockroach problem during the summer. There is no assigned parking so if you work late/ just get home late be prepared to search for a parking spot for 15 minutes. Trashes are always full for weeks and out of doggie bags. Management has to be one of the worst parts of living here. But AGAIN, for a low cost it was tolerable. Please live anywhere but here unless youre desperate.
