Called to get shot records of a puppy we got. They wanted to give me the run around I even asked if they could send to our vet and still given a run around. Would not recommend this place at all

First item I would like to share is an experience with poor treatment. About a year ago my dog had a bad head tilt and was consistently losing his balance. VCA prescribed medication for an ear infection but when the prescription ran out he still had issues. VCA next suggestion was to see a specialist in Knoxville for a MRI to see if he had a brain tumor or cancer (he was 3 at the time and would be very uncommon) at an extremely high price. I got a second opinion and was told they prescribed roughly half the medication to treat an ear infection; I got more medication and it solved the problem. This seemed like price gauging, so I decided to leave permanently Today, I called to get my dogs medical records transferred and the desk lady simply hung up on me (I did call back and the second lady that answered responded; I'm assuming it was someone else). Rude and unprofessional. Steer clear of this animal hospital.

VCA has taken great care of my pets for several years. Their staff truly cares for the animals they take care of. I did not realize my elderly dog was out of his heart medication right before a trip. Linda and Kayleigh stayed late and went out of their way to make sure we got his medicine on a Saturday. I am so grateful we found VCA!
