I’ve never been to this animal shelter but have visited their site many times, only bc someone stole my American Staffordshire Terrier last yr aug 2nd between 6:45&7:30pm. So I check in here quite often looking for him. Their site is well set up. If they out all the time into their site they must have a well put together facility. The one time I went to visit, it was shut-down due to Covid-19. I do plan on visiting in next couple mo and will post my experience there. Ty

I filled out the long, detailed adoption application. The pop up said it would take 3-5 business days for a response. The e-mail confirmation said 10 business days. I waited the 10 days plus a few extra, in case they were super busy, before sending an e-mail, as the instructions said. It's been another week. They won't reply to e-mails OR FB messages, although the message shows that it has been seen. I'm not sure what the deal is with this place, but they make it next to impossible to adopt from them, and their communication skills are nonexistent. Update: I did actually end up receiving an e-mail from them that said neither my cell or work number worked (but apparently worked for everyone else so...). Then I was also told I e-mailed the wrong e-mail address so they never received my application. I don't know what their business is like now or if the same people still work there. It was a negative experience for me at the time, but hopefully things are better now. I ended up adopting from Tupelo.

We have a low cost spay neuter program. For $25 we will spay or neuter your cat or dog, and give a rabies shot good for 3 years. Just stop by the shelter and fill out the infor sheet and we will get you scheduled. You must live in Alcorn County.
Yes they will take it don't know bout a charge don't think so if u live in alcorn county
Tracy, I will call you tomorrow. I don't have his records in front of me but I believe he was already treated. If so, follow up care is different.
I know dogs are $25 but its through this program they have . You will need to call them just to make sure they do cats also.
Copper cannot be put up on our website for 5 days from the day he arrived at the shelter. You should see Copper this weekend.
yes but you have to live in alcorn county
I asked my boss if I could answer this for her and she said yes, but be nice. I heard this conversation and was shocked at how nasty this man was. He said he found a dog at Krogers. My boss told him right now we have no room at all. There are over 300 animals we are trying to care for here at the shelter, but if he could help out for just one week, she has some dogs leaving for homes and she would gladly take the dog then. The man said he was going to dump it back where he found it. She told him she would give him food . He was really rude to her and hung up on her, when she told him we were the only shelter in the area. My boss sent me over to Krogers to make sure the dog was not left behind. It wasn't there. We work really hard to find homes for other peoples dogs that they don't care about. There are so many and they just keep coming. People are really nasty to my boss and lie on social media. That is wrong.
Yes they can help you with that I think it's 75 dollars to have it done
You can now go to our new website coronthalcornanimalshelter. org and click on ACSpay.. The form for this service is there and can be completed and sent in. We will call you with an appointment date.
If you can get past the receptionist Dr. Jackson is good. He is on the west end of town.
I'm sorry Frances, we are having problems with our telephone system, especially when it rains. If you live in Alcorn County and on fixed income or low income the price is $25. If not cats are $55 and $60 and dogs are $65 and $70. Just stop by the shelter and fill out the let information form and we will schedule you for the next available date.
Thank you David. That is true and also when we are on a call it will go to voice mail automatically
I am sorry, but we do not at this time. We get puppies in every day and you can check on our website for pictures and biographies. Corinthalcornanimalshelter.com
Not sure about prices but I do believe they ask you to wear a mask. I'm sure if you want to adopt they won't push the mask issue. A lot of good dogs there needing a good home. Good luck!!
No sir not at this time. Our dogs are all posted on our website Corinth Alcorn Animal Shelter.com. Their pictures and bios are there. Thank you for contacting us.
