The staff was incredibly nice. The animals were well taken care of. The pet adoption process was quick and simple to fill out. My new kitty has found her forever home.

Love this place! They really care for their fur babies! Adopted Junior today... he's home. We love him and are very thankful for their assistance ❤

We used to support this shelter but one day we had a realization. This shelter is highly picky on who they work with they judgemental i can't remember her name but one older lady that sits at the front and answers the phone has always been very rude! She flat out called me a liar even though 3 other people called and backed up what happened. My uncle passed away a neighbor let his dog loose and she ended up here they wouldn't let me claim her and said I'd have to apply for adoption then turned around to tell my mom I had a low chance of getting her back i believe they ended up transporting her off and I havent seen her since I dont recommend this shelter the animals are just money bags to them

Great shelter. I was able to adopt my big fluffy buddy with no trouble at all!

Need a volunteer?

Call them. They are always needing volunteers.

A stray cat, long-haired gray young male, found it's way to my doorstep. He's at the vet getting neutered and shots and will be surrendered for adoption. His feline tests were negative & he's in good health.

Is this cat still available?

Will the Humane Society take a stray dog that I pick up on the side of the road? I had to pass one today and it broke my heart. I couldn't bring it home and didn't know what I'd do with him/her. My heart is still breaking over it, with this weather.

They won't right now. There is no space. They may be able to get you in touch with another shelter to take the dog but the budget gets cut every year for them

They get yearly grants from the government. And when they do they will post on facebook when they get them. But you should call and make sure. You also have to use the vet they choose. Which is Paris Vet Clinic and they are wonderful. They normally charge $60.00 but with the voucher it's only $35.00. I hope this helps.

Yes they are legit. They do not euthanize. They find families and work with rescues for placements. Speak with Cindy Hess.
