I haven’t been to this rev center in over 10yrs. The weight room is decent and the basketball gym has new floors and had a great time playing basketball.

We rented a the main hall at Scheitler Recreation Center For my daughter's birthday. Needless to say we were treated poorly and the woman worker was extremely rude to me from the moment I walked to the through the hall door. •We were told that we couldn't use the kitchen until the day of the birthday party. (The food spoiled) •I was told that not everyone could swim but if they break from the party they could. (The worker told me that if she catches anyone from the party that she'll shut down the party) •I was told that even if some people couldn't swim they could play basketball or go to the game room. (She reiterated that she would shut down the birthday party if she caught anyone outside the event room) •The worker also threw in the fact that she was very good friend with both of the people who are in charger of the facility. •She turned on one fan and it still was very hot in the room. (Which is why the food spoiled) •She told me that if any of the party goers we in trough the main doors she would turn them away. •We asked for trash bags (we weren't told we had to supply our own) it took her until 3 to bring them. Our party was over at 3. Also took her a while to grab the dry mop so I could sweep. •I asked that she keep the door closed because I needed to finish cleaning and keep my daughter in the room. Her response was no, started smacking her lips together and my daughter ran out. I went after her. Went back in grabbed the the dry mop to which she snatched it out of my hand and started yelling me we were suppose to be out at 3. •I went to put something in the car with my daughter during that time the worker started loudly hitting the trash cans against the door and each other and muttering things under her breath. My spouse and her had an altercation that resulted in a pop can being thrown her way. My spouse, mother-in-law and son sat in the car while I put the two tables away and finished sweeping. Another woman came we talked and she told me about the pop can being thrown towards the worker, it hit the enclosure to the kitchen but didn't hit the worker. Yes I do recognize that my spouse acted like a child but understand that this was her first birthday. I'm not sure if it was a race thing or because she didn't want to work.
