Working with New Roofs Plus has been a great experience from start to finish. They are professional, punctual, honest and do Quality Work throughout the entire project. They communicated with every phase of the Project with phone calls and emails. The whole team were professional and cared about doing a good job and took pride in their work and they were careful with my home and did a great job keeping the are cleaned up each day from start to finish. From the Proposal Stage to Final Installation they handled every aspect professionally and thoroughly. Greg Jones & Team are always available and professional. They are honorable, kind, trustworthy and always available. They have been great to work with, I would highly recommend New Roof Plus. They did my neighbors house and they were also thrilled with the project.

We had a fantastic experience with New Roof Plus. They were communicative, quick, and a pleasure to work with. The quality of workmanship was amazing. We had a terrible experience with another roofing company a few years ago so it was a relief to have this project go so well. Huge shout out to Greg and Stefan - thanks for making this so easy!

Is there such a thing as a "Hail Proof" roof in Colorado?

"Hail proof" can mean a lot of different things. Ultimately, there is nothing that could be fully hail proof. There is hail inside a tornado so...there are extremes to this answer. The "most hail proof roofing" we are aware of is a product called Euroshield. It is recycled rubber tires, reformed to look like slate or shake. It's really quite beautiful and it is as close to "Hail Proof" as you will find. It will withstand 4" hailstones - that's massive by the way. And they offer a 50 year warranty - so they believe in it too. We have a lot of information on our website about this product. If you are interested in researching this here is a page to help get some answers from New Roof Plus. https://www.newroofplus.com/hail-proof-roofing-research-from-new-roof-plus/

Do you like DECRA Stone Coated Steel and do you install it?

DECRA is great. Super durable, looks beautiful. High end high value product but not too expensive. People install it for the hail problems we have here in Colorado. It’s a Class 4 rated product so it can withstand hail that will destroy regular asphalt shingles. It’s not “Hail Proof” though. If you get hit by big hail, it too will take on some damage. So the answer is Yes- we like it a lot. We install it all the time because it is a great product.

I live in Castle Rock. Does your roofing company travel this far to give estimates?

Yes! New Roof Plus services all of the Denver roofing needs, the entire front range, including Castle Rock and even into the mountains. We have replaced many roofs in Castle Rock. This year and last year there have been several hail storms in the Castle Rock area. If your house was hit with hail or wind and you would like a roof inspection, please let us know. We are Colorado Certified Roof Inspectors for residential and commercial roofs. We install all roofing shingles, materials, and systems. Thanks for asking us a question on our Google My Business page - we hope to meet you soon!

My house in Englewood was hit with hail a couple days ago. I'm not sure if my roof was damaged enough to call my insurance. Should I get up there and take a look? If so, should I be able to see chunks of the shingles broken? Thanks.

Great question! First of all, the hail that hit Englewood CO recently was mostly a mix of pea-sized and marble-sized hail stones. There have been a lot of storms this year all up and down the front range. Some areas have had much larger damaging hail - hail storms are usually very streaky and inconsistent in their impact. The damage to your house could be significant or might not be - depends. If you want to inspect your own roof personally, be careful! Inspect it from a ladder - don't climb up off the ladder unless you're confident in your skills. Shingle damage can be obvious or subtle to spot. Inspect the roof while it's dry and sunny. This helps you see any dents or tears from wind. Chunks of shingles would result from wind damage - where wind peels the shingle back or tears it off. You can call us for a free roof inspection. We do this every day so we are really good at it. Plus we are certified roof inspectors - so we are trained to spot damage. Hope this answer helps you!
