Stayed 06/21/22 - 06/22/22. The attendant during breakfast threatened to kick us out because she overheard us complaining to ourselves and apparently assumed we were berating her from the next room. We were confused about who she was even talking to at first. The motel was great. Being disappointed that there's not a place to fill up water is not a personal attack and we said that we were Glad they had real milk and not just fake creamer, but she wasn't listening closely enough to catch that I guess because that's when she cut in saying she could make us leave.

Clean motor inn, right off the highway. The linens were fresh, the kids enjoyed the pool, and the atmosphere was safe. The “deluxe” breakfast is a juice box and hard boiled egg, but what do you expect from a budget motel? I would stay again

One of the main reasons we booked with them was their advertising of a "deluxe" breakfast starting at 6:30 AM. Their hotel sign even claimed to be "the best bargain in town " because of their deluxe breakfast. There was no one at the desk at 6:30 and the door was locked with a sign saying they opened at 7:00. The "deluxe" breakfast consisted of a few small containers of yogurt, a half loaf of bread, a small bowl of hard boiled eggs, some dried up and wrinkled fruit and two small half containers of cereal. There was at least a half empty jug of milk for the cereal. Totally disappointed. When I questioned the clerk all he could say was "I know" and shake his head.

Stayed Friday night 3/18 into Saturday morning 3/19. I originally had planned on staying at another hotel, but upon arrival in Montrose found out they were having issues with their fire alarm system. So I ran over and booked a room here. Upon entering the room I noticed there weren't any bath towels, hand towels, or wash cloths. There was, however, a bath mat that had to suffice as a hand towel. With it being late, I figured I'd just let them know in the morning on my way out. I tried to let them know, but since I left before 8am the office was closed/locked. They charged me an extra $75 "linen fee" assuming I took the non-existent towels (more than the $72 nightly rate). I did call to discuss a few days later, but they stood their ground. They even made a point to say they had to deep clean the room when they found a (negative) COVID test. God forbid I was on my way to hang out with some married friends with a newborn, and they requested a negative test confirmation to see them since the child isn't vaccinated yet. I won't pin all the blame on hotel owners - I could have let them know sooner, but still a shame. I tried to support a small local business, and got burned. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
